Way back of Netherlands legend Edgar Davids

Former Tottenham star and Dutch international football champion Edgar Davids is coming back to the vocation. Since 1991 Davids has been active in professional football but after parting with home club Ajax Amsterdam in summer 2008, this 37 years old champion had not played active football. Now he has signed a one year contract (as-you -play) with English Championship club Crystal Palace. According to this contract if he plays for London-based side, then only he will be able to earn. The Palace manager George Burley is glad with the deal at Selhurst Park and also for bringing back an experienced player. Now its Davids turn to prove himself against the pressure of Championship football. The zeal of this champion can be experienced through his words “ I just want to enjoy football and show the best I can do.” George Burley is also excited by seeing the eagerness of Edgar.
