Thailand Grand Festival to take place in Amsterdam
The visitors in Amsterdam will get a taste of Thai culture as well along with the Dutch culture this season because of the Thailand Grand Festival which will take place in the city on September 5th and 6th. Held at the Beursplein and organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in the Hague in cooperation with the Thai community in the Netherlands, the event is a celebration of Thai culture and will feature a hoard of events.
Thus, the tourists staying in Amsterdam hotels will get a chance to learn about Thailand and sample some delicious Asian cuisine. The festival celebrates its fourth year and is known for its colorful street market where visitors can sample a range of tasty delicacies, including authentic cuisine specially prepared by local Thai restaurants. To add icing to the cake will be a host of performers to keep the crowds entertained over the course of the festival. These dancers and musicians are traveling from Thailand especially for the occasion and will treat the crowds to traditional performances.
Also available will be plenty of unique items and handicrafts on offer at the market there apart from the Thai Spa Corner where one can go for a traditional massage.
Apart from this, another culinary-themed event taking place in Amsterdam this September includes A Week of Taste, which begins on September 21st.
