Get yourself clicked with famous celeb statues at Madamme Tassauds
Want to click a pic with Jlo or Merlyn Monroe, but life never gave you an opportunity for it? Does not matter. Now, you can get yourself clicked with life sized wax statues of famous celebrities at Madamme Tassauds museum in Amsterdam.
Being the second of the of the nine waxwork museums to open within the Madame Tussaud’s group, this is one of the major attractions of Amsterdam. It opened in 1971 and in addition to the life size statues of famous models like Oprah Winfrey, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Marilyn Monroe, it also has the Dutch attachment to it with the statues of people like Wubbo Ockel, the first Dutch astronaut or the famous Dutch painter Rembrandt. You will also find the world’s largest waxwork animated figure here at over 5 metres tall.
Being situated in the heart of the city at Dam Square right and being well connected by the city’s public transport system including its buses, trams and trains, it is not difficult to get to this museum. It is open daily from 10am until 6.30pm.
