There had been an early morning shooting at around 3:45 a.m. at the corner of Grand Street and Second Ave. outside of bar ‘Slicks’ in Amsterdam and police have arrested two people in this regard. Police say that it appears that more than one gun and up to 14 rounds were fired outside the bar.
Four vehicles, as well as two residences, and the tavern were hit by the gunfire but luckily no person was hit or injured.
A confrontation occurred, and was believed to be resolved about 15 minutes before the bar patrons hear the shots, say police.
